Creator referral prize draw: terms

These terms govern the TL;DR Creators referral prize draw. Entry is free and no

purchase is necessary. By taking part you accept these terms.

1. The promoter

The promoter is TL;DR Brands ("we", "us"), which runs TL;DR Creators at

creators.tldrbrands.com. Contact us in the app or by email to the TL;DR Brands

team.

2. Who can enter

You can enter if you are an approved creator on TL;DR Creators, aged 18 or

over, and resident in the United Kingdom. Our team and their immediate families

cannot win.

3. How to enter, and how entries are earned

  • Every approved creator has a personal referral link in their profile.
  • When someone signs up through your link and we approve them as a creator, you

earn one entry into that month's draw.

  • Entries are counted in the calendar month the referred creator is approved.
  • There is no limit on how many entries you can earn. More approved referrals

means more entries, which means better odds.

  • Entry is free. You never pay to enter or to claim a prize.

4. Fair entries only

Entries must come from genuine creators you have referred. We may remove

entries, or exclude someone from the draw, if we reasonably believe entries

were created through fake, duplicate or automated signups, or by any attempt to

game the draw. Our decision on this is final.

5. The prize

  • One winner each calendar month receives a TL;DR giftbox: a selection of

products, the exact contents of which vary month to month.

  • There is one winner per month.
  • The prize is not transferable and there is no cash alternative.
  • If a featured item is unavailable, we may substitute an item of similar

value.

6. The draw

  • The draw takes place shortly after the end of each calendar month.
  • The winner is picked at random from that month's entries, weighted by the

number of entries each creator has earned.

  • Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries in the month.

7. Telling the winner and claiming the prize

  • We will contact the winner through the app or by email, using the details on

their creator account.

  • The winner must confirm their postal address within 14 days of us getting in

touch. If we cannot reach the winner, or they do not respond within 14 days,

we may draw an alternative winner.

  • We deliver the prize within a reasonable time after the winner confirms their

address.

8. Publicity

We may share the winner's first name and last initial when we announce the

draw. We will not publish full names, contact details or addresses.

9. Your data

We use your information to run the draw and deliver prizes, as described in our

[Privacy Policy](/privacy). We do not sell it.

10. Changes and cancellation

We may change these terms, or pause or withdraw the draw, for a good reason (for

example a legal or operational one). Where a change matters, we will say so in

the app. Entries already earned in the current month are honoured.

11. General

  • This draw is run solely by TL;DR Brands. It is not sponsored, endorsed or

administered by, or associated with, any social platform.

  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for anything that cannot be

limited by law.

  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of

England and Wales have jurisdiction.
